Bathroom floor replacement and shower regrout in Wembley
A water-damaged bathroom floor in Wembley taken up and relaid in large grey tiles in September 2025, followed by a full regrout and reseal of the shower in November.
- LocationWembley Hill, Wembley (Brent), HA9
- PropertyHome with a separate shower
- PhotographedSeptember to November 2025
- Estimated cost£1,050 to £1,950 + VAT

The starting point
When the bathroom floor came up on 14 September 2025, the boards underneath were dark and water-damaged from leaks. The shower, photographed in November, had stained, failing grout and mould in the corners and along the tray.
What we did
- The damaged floor taken up and made good.
- A tiling membrane laid over the new floor, then large-format grey tiles.
- In November, the old grout and sealant raked out of the shower, then fresh grout and a new silicone seal around the tray.
