Bedroom renovation with fitted storage in Slough

Two bedrooms in a Slough home re-plastered, decorated and floored over three weeks in mid 2025, with the top-floor bedroom finished in fitted wardrobes built into the roof slope.

  • LocationWexham Court, Slough (outside London), SL2
  • PropertyHouse with a top-floor bedroom under the roof slope
  • PhotographedJune to July 2025
  • Estimated cost£4,675 to £9,975 + VAT
The first room painted, Wexham Court, Slough

The starting point

Two bedrooms needed taking back to fresh plaster: one still had bright pink paint on the door and walls, and the top-floor room had a sloping ceiling that made ordinary furniture hard to fit.

What we did

  • Both rooms re-plastered on walls and ceilings.
  • Decorated in white once the plaster had dried.
  • Wood-effect flooring laid.
  • The top-floor bedroom fitted with wardrobes and storage cut to the roof slope, plus downlights.
