Flat roof re-covering over a rear extension in Wealdstone
The flat roof over a Wealdstone rear extension stripped and re-covered in six days in February 2026, with the water-damaged plaster inside patched once the roof was watertight.
- LocationWealdstone (Harrow), HA3
- PropertyHouse with a flat-roofed rear extension
- PhotographedFebruary 2026
- Estimated cost£2,150 to £4,600 + VAT

The starting point
The earliest photos at this address, from May 2025, show the roofline where the rear extension meets the main house, with a rotten fascia and a broken corrugated section along one edge. By February 2026 the flat roof covering over the extension had failed, and water had got in: inside, the plaster on one wall had blown and crumbled.
What we did
- The old covering and rotten timber were stripped off and bagged for removal.
- The roof was cleared and prepared for the new covering.
- A new covering was laid across the whole roof, dressed up the walls of the main house and finished with clean edges.
- Once the roof was watertight, the damp-damaged plaster inside was cut back, patched and made good.
